Seal Parish Council are extremely saddened by the news of the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Today is a very sad day for the nation and the Commonwealth. His Royal Highness dedicated his life to public duty and was a pillar of support to Her Majesty the Queen. We offer our sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family on behalf of Seal Parish residents at this difficult time.

His Royal Highness served the country with distinction for six decades, serving in the armed forces, representing the nation on the world stage and as consort to Her Majesty The Queen. He was a charismatic man with a great sense of humour who will be sorely missed.

Given Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to open a book of condolence. The Parish Council suggest that those who wish to do so sign the online book of condolence at
